Aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! My Nike running app has failed! Just setting out for the last big run before the Big Day and it wasn’t working! I had a few problems last week but I thought 5 days on it will be fixed but no! So in desperation, I uninstalled it (sob – all my runs are now lost (I think)) All that evidence of hard work and sweat gone……. And then I tried to reinstall it and it’s still broken. Bad Nike+ grrrrrrr….I will have a go at finding my data, I’m sure the Nike people will have a back up somewhere – any ideas?
So I had to quickly download another app which is ok but doesn’t have km updates ( I like this particularly to see how fast I’m going and if I need to speed up, how long I have left) but at least it works. L I did my second 10k which was fine – my legs were a bit sore but otherwise I felt ok so happy days.
I also took the plunge and tried coconut water after reading about it replacing electrolytes – it is DISGUSTING! And smells like sick. I was really disappointed because I rather fancied drinking it and feeling like a proper athlete :S (hmmmm) but sadly, not for me. I think good old water is probably best and the race is so close now, I’m too scared to try anything new.
Hope everyone taking part is looking forward to it – I think I am but the nerves are kicking in!
